for the sat, thankfully, i only have to take up one advance class for mathematics and then attend a review program in summer to prep me up. another good thing is that in our school i'm not the only one aiming for that university so i won't be alone in that advance class and in being stuck here for another year. what's even funnier is that we all have the same plans. plan a, b, and c are all the same. though for me, if i won't be able to attend my first choice, i'd apply for MIT. that or the university affiliated with my our school. whatever school, just to be able to get away for a while in here given the situations happening in this country. massacres, ousted ex-president running shamelessly for presidency saying that yes, he's still eligible, the current president running for a congressional seat (delicadeza my ass, says her) and so many more bizarro crap that i and thankfully my family, can't stand. it's not that i'm saying that the country's worthless but getting out for the moment seems to be the best move one can make at the time being. maybe, by the time i return, it'll be better, or if still not, i can help 'fix' it. or contribute in some way. just that, for now, all seems bleak. and i want out.

school applications, sat and the current state
today turned out to be one depressing day. turns out, i won't be able to apply to my college of choice yet cause i still have to take several tests. apparently, i still have to take SAT or the ACT. of course, living in a country which has a very different system of education from US makes it difficult for me to take said tests. now i still have to wait for another year i think for me to be able to submit my application. so for the time being, i'm stuck in some university here. sucks. good thing though is that i was able to take the UPCAT last august and well, if the world comes to an end and i end up not passing there (i might as well forget about studying abroad if i fail that), i had already submitted my application to two other universities as plan c.
