lame old me

i was writing a fic a while ago,(yes it's a senru, and, no, it was going to be a happy, well not totally happy, but it hints at senru in the end type of fic) when i noticed that the beginning plot was becoming too much like '500 days of summer' when all i was thinking was to quote zooey at the end. the word file didn't make it to 'save' part so to speak. publishing it would something be akin to copying or plagiarizing or whatever. i suddenly remembered
what james barrie once said: I know not, sir, whether Bacon wrote the works of Shakespeare, but if he did not it seems to me that he missed the opportunity of his life.

i sometimes hate it when i read an extremely good piece of literature and afterwards i am seized by this urge to write something but when i read what i came up with, it's so similar to what i've just read that what i did seems like i just paraphrased the whole thing. and then i'm left feeling dejected but wanting to write something that people would appreciate or talk about or something like that. sadly, i don't think i've ever written something like that.
so yeah, i guess i'm stuck at the moment into quoting people .

btw, the quote that i was going to make rukawa say at the end of the fic was this: 'just because she's likes the same bizzaro crap you do doesn't mean she's your soul mate'

and after that, sendoh would like him.lol. sucks...too 500 days of summer-ish -_-
